




this is the part of the world where I live now.
already for 5 years.
manila. philippines.
you might be irritated to see these incredible
living conditions of a lot of people in this
country. I was when I came here. it was a
very sad first experience.
but you would not believe how warm and
friendly most of the filippinos are, despite
their poverty. and they seem to be happy.
I remember a lot more miserable faces the
last time I was in L.A.
that was one of the main reasons I choose
this country to live here. of course I am not
living in the squatters. compared to a lot of
people here I probably live in luxury.
it's all relative.
